I don't know about you, but when I think about the Romanov family, I hate to admit that the animated movie is what I think about first. I have always loved the mystery surrounding this Russian family. I always kept this story with fairytales and the knights of the round table, close to my heart.
Now that this family is back in the news, I am following the story once again as an adult. Now that science has advanced so much they are excavating their bodies and running extensive tests to make sure that the bodies are truly that of the Romanov family and finally getting the answers to all of the big questions surrounding the death of this family.
As a writer, this is the jolt of energy I need to surge my creativity. At the beginning of this year I was researching Anastasia, because I have always wanted to write a fiction story about this family. Now that many of my other projects this year I am ready to dive into National Novel Writing Month with a fresh take on a strange event within history.
I am sorry I have been an absentee writer for the past few months, but I have been a little burnt out, and am just now finding my feet again.
Good luck to all of those participating in #NaNoWriMo...
I will be time traveling for the next month- see you on the other side of November.
