Lately I have been struggling to get back into my writing ever since I finished Unmasked (which is only going to be available for a few more days as I have unpublished it). I have been tearing apart my Kingdom of Jade novel to fix it and get it refinished. I have a few scenes that I need to add after I got some really in-depth reviews and critiques.
Unfortunately, I am facing an even bigger dilemma, the inspiration and scenes are not coming to me. Instead, I have had a plethora of ideas for my Grecian Chronicles series. Rather inspired ideas, if I can be so bold as to say. I just have to say I found a way to make the gods a little more human (relatable), including Zeus.
Don't get me wrong. I am not changing who the gods were, that is not my goal. My goal is just to tell a story that hasn't been told before, while reminding people of the original stories. Get back to the root of Greek mythology since it has been rather reworked and destroyed through so many books that many have forgotten the original stories. The big events within the stories of Greek Mythology still happen in my series, how they come about, the things that lead to the events might be twisted, changed or stripped down.
I am just going to give my take on Greek Mythology.
Needless to say I have a few projects I am working on. Not to mention the children's books that are in the works to come out this year. If any of this sounds interesting, I suggest that you keep following this site for there is plenty more to come...
